OPPO has introduced a new phone called A16e, designed for the budget segment of the market. The novelty was equipped with a large 6.52-inch IPS screen, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory.
OPPO A16e received SoC MediaTek Helio P22 with 3 GB / 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 32 GB / 64 GB of internal memory eMMC 5.1 and a 4230 mAh battery. The main camera is single at 13 megapixels, but the front one is at 5 megapixels. The device ships with Android 11 out of the box paired with the proprietary ColorOS 11.1 skin.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch and a solid “chin”, HD + screen resolution (720×1600 pixels) and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The company claims that in the A16e, the display occupies 89.27% of the front panel. The A16e does not have a fingerprint scanner – the smartphone has face unlock. It also features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
OPPO A16e is presented in black, blue and white colors. The 3 GB + 32 GB package will cost approximately $131, while the 4 GB + 64 GB package will cost $157.
