From July 1 to July 15, 2022, new cars of only one brand have risen in price in Russia. We are talking about the Chinese manufacturer JAC.
According to Avtostat, three JAC models out of five presented on the Russian market have risen in price. The JAC J7 liftback has risen in price the most, and we are talking about the amount from 400 to 631 thousand rubles, or from 28.6% to 41.5%.
The JAC S3 crossover went up by 200 to 241 thousand rubles (18.2–20.4%), while the JAC T6 pickup added 550–571 thousand rubles, which is 28.8–31.4% higher than the previous price.
In March, prices for new cars were raised by 26 brands, in April by 14, and in May by only 6 companies. In June, none of the brands raised the prices of their cars, and BMW even lowered them.
