OnePlus has launched a doorstep pickup and drop service in India. Through this service, the company will collect your smartphone from your home, get it repaired, and deliver it back—without you needing to visit a service center. This service is free of cost. Here’s what OnePlus has announced.
OnePlus has expanded its customer service network in India by introducing a doorstep pickup and drop facility, which will be available across more than 19,000 pin codes. This move is expected to enhance the customer experience, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
Under this service, the company will provide free pickup and drop for OnePlus devices. Customers can now send their devices for repair without leaving their homes, and the serviced phone will be delivered back to their doorstep.
Part of the Starlight Project
To support this, OnePlus has built a multi-channel customer support system that will assist users through call centers. Customers will also have access to real-time live chat, verified WhatsApp support, and email-based service options.
This service expansion is part of the company’s “Project Starlight,” which was announced in the fourth quarter of 2024. The initiative is focused on user feedback and community-driven improvements. Under this project, OnePlus will invest ₹6,000 crore over the next three years.
Free Device Checkup Camps
OnePlus is also organizing free device checkup camps across India. These camps will be held at various locations between June 20 and June 30, 2025. During the camps, OnePlus devices will be inspected free of charge.
Users can also get free software updates at these camps. Even if a phone’s warranty has expired, users can still take advantage of the free service checkup. Additionally, the company is not charging any service fees for certain parts. OnePlus says its primary goal is to improve its service network across the country.
