OnePlus Pad 2: A Game-Changer with Dolby Atmos, 16GB RAM, and 67W Charging

The much-anticipated OnePlus Pad 2 is set to make a significant impact in the market with its industry-first features. This news comes directly from OnePlus China President Li Ji, who hinted at the tablet’s groundbreaking capabilities in a recent Weibo post. Let’s dive into the details revealed so far.

Cutting-Edge RAM, Storage, and Color Options

Recent rumors suggest that the OnePlus Pad 2 will be available in four storage configurations: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and a whopping 16GB+512GB. Customers will have two color options to choose from: Space Grey and Fresh Khaki Green. Expected to launch this month, the tablet weighs 585 grams, slightly more than its predecessor, the OnePlus Pad, which weighed 552 grams.

Power-Packed Performance with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

The OnePlus Pad 2 has already surfaced on Geekbench under the model number ‘OP2404’, confirming it will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship chipset. This processor boasts Cortex-X4 cores clocked at 3.3GHz, five Cortex A720 cores (three at 3.2GHz and two at 3.0 GHz), and two power-efficient Cortex A-520 cores at 2.3GHz, along with an Adreno 750 GPU. In Geekbench tests, it scores over 2000 in single-core and 7000 in multi-core, slightly below the Dimensity 9300 but promising exceptional performance.

Stunning Display and Fast Charging Battery

The OnePlus Pad 2 will feature a 12.1-inch 3K (3000×2120 pixels) LCD display with a pixel density of 304 ppi and up to 900 nits of peak brightness. It will be powered by a 9510mAh battery with 67W charging support, ensuring quick and efficient charging.

Enhanced Audio and Camera Capabilities

OnePlus is enhancing the multimedia experience with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support in the Pad 2. The tablet will include a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. Additionally, it is expected to support the next-generation OnePlus Stylo pen and feature an upgraded USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, compared to the USB Type-C 2.0 port of the previous model.
