OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will launch with the Snapdragon 695 processor with 5,500mAh and Fast charging

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has confirmed that it will launch the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G smartphone in India on June 24. The upcoming OnePlus device has generated excitement due to leaks and rumors. The brand has confirmed that it will feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary camera, a significant improvement over its current camera hardware. Tipster Paras Guglani has also shared additional information about the OnePlus.

According to the spec sheet shared by OnePlus, the Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will indeed be powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor. The Snapdragon 695 is a 6-nanometer-based processor that was launched in October 2021. Despite being an older processor, it has been a reliable choice for many budget-midrange 5G smartphones, including the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G. Interestingly, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G is essentially a rebranded version of the Oppo K12x, which also utilizes the same processor. The decision to opt for the Snapdragon 695 instead of a newer option like the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 could be a cost-cutting measure, especially considering its affordability in the sub-20K range. Notably, the Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will come with other upgrades, such as the new Sony LYT-600 primary camera.

The device will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 2100 nits. OnePlus also plans to replace the side-mounted fingerprint sensor with an in-display sensor. Additionally, the battery capacity will increase from 5,000mAh to 5,500mAh. Fast charging is also expected to receive an upgrade from 67W to 80W, similar to the Oppo K12x’s 80W fast charging capability. Despite the older processor, these features collectively make the upcoming Nord CE 4 Lite 5G an impressive smartphone. However, we’ll have to wait and see how Sony’s new technology complements the overall user experience.
