OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed via his official Weibo that the OnePlus 10 Pro flagship smartphone will be announced in January. Although he did not give a date, various reports indicate that it could happen on January 5th.
The company has already confirmed that the OnePlus 10 series smartphones will feature the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Previous leaks suggest that the OnePlus 10 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch curved LTPO AMOLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz high refresh rate. … A notch in the upper left corner of the screen will house a 32MP camera sensor for selfies and video calling.
The device will be equipped with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 flash storage. It is also expected to meet the IP68 rating. The main camera is expected to use a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module and an 8-megapixel module with support for 3x optical zoom.
The phone will be equipped with a special shell ColorOS 12 on top of the Android 12 operating system. The smartphone will run on a 5000 mAh battery and support 80W fast wired charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
The OnePlus 10 will officially hit the Chinese market in January, while other regions will launch sometime in March or April.
