OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro smartphones have been updated with the January security patch

OnePlus has announced the release of a software update for its latest flagships OnePlus 9 and 9 Proreleased last year. The OxygenOS 12 update carries version number C.44.

It includes security updates for January 2022. In addition, the description contains a long list of innovations and changes, including many bug fixes. In particular, by installing the update, you can expect not increased battery life, a “smooth” fingerprint unlock, improved animation of the charging process, less scrolling lag in the notification area, the addition of three adjustable levels for dark mode, and many other things. The Work Life Balance feature with automatic mode switching and custom app notification profiles is now available to all users. You also get improvements in camera performance, 5G connectivity, Canvas AOD functionality, and the Gallery app.

As always, the rollout of the over-the-air update will be phased.
