OnePlus 12R gets first software update, changes will be seen from cameras to battery, know details

OnePlus 12R The smartphone was launched in India last month. This smartphone is equipped with the features of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14. After its launch, this smartphone has started receiving its first software update in India. The sale of the phone will start from February 6. The update that has arrived offers system stability and performance upgrades along with camera improvements. It also brings power optimization in some cases. The size of the new update is around 400MB.

This update has been brought for Indian units of OnePlus 12R by the name of OxygenOS version (EX01). After the latest update, users will also see improvement in network and Bluetooth connections stability. OnePlus has also made some rear camera improvements in the new phone. After the update, improvement will also be seen in indoor photography. This rollout can be introduced in other markets outside India very soon.

OnePlus 12R was launched last month for Rs 39,999 with 8GB + 128GB model. The phone has a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,264×2,780 pixels) LTPO 4.0 AMOLED display. The phone has up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. It is packed with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

OnePlus 12R has a triple rear camera unit. The main camera is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor. Along with this, 8 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and 2 megapixel macro camera is provided. The phone has a 16 megapixel selfie camera. It offers up to 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The OnePlus 12R packs a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 100W SuperVOOC wired charging.
