ONE XPlayer mini is a compact analogue of Steam Deck now on AMD

One Netbook has introduced a new revision of the ONE Xplayer Mini game console with a number of hardware modifications. In addition to the transition to the “red” processor, the device received another important upgrade that can significantly improve the gaming experience of its owner.

The “heart” of the novelty was the eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 5800U processor with 16 threads of execution. Another difference between the updated version of the console and its predecessor was a high-capacity battery (12,600 mAh versus 10,455 mAh for the Intel version). Finally, the gadget has got a gyroscope, which expands the control options and provides more immersion in the gameplay.

Otherwise, the specifications of the AMD version of ONE Xplayer Mini have not changed. The novelty is equipped with a 7-inch touch screen (1920×1200 pixels), controllers in the spirit of Nintendo Switch, a pair of USB Type-C connectors, one USB Type-A and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The amount of RAM of the device is 16 GB, built-in SSD-drive – from 512 GB to 2 TB.

Unlike the modification with an Intel chip, the console did not receive the ability to connect an external graphics accelerator, since AMD processors do not support the Thunderbolt interface. The claimed autonomy of the gadget is up to three hours of intensive gaming or up to nine hours of video playback. Now the novelty is available for pre-order at a price of $999, and after April 17 it will cost from $1259 depending on the memory configuration.
