Samsung Internet Browser is getting better with every update. Earlier this month, it was reported that Samsung is testing several new features that have now become available to all users.
The v126.96.36.199 update offers one of the most requested features: the ability to move the URL address bar to the bottom of the screen. Yes, now the browser resembles Safari in iOS 15. But the fact remains: using the address bar has become more convenient for many. In the lower part, it is easier to reach it with the thumb of the same hand, which you hold the phone.
The official changelog also reveals several other features that improve the usability and security of the browser. For example, the Smart Anti-Tracking feature has been improved, which blocks tracking of the device. The same goes for searching in the URL bar, which now offers different options when you enter keywords.
If you have a Samsung smartphone, you can download the latest update via the Galaxy Store, but the app is also available for other devices on Google Play.
