A number of domestic applications must now be installed on phones, laptops, tablets and TVs sold in the Russian Federation from 2023. This is reported by TASS with reference to the official portal of legal information.
In particular, on phones (both based on iOS and Android), it is planned to install Yandex, 2GIS, Litres services, VK services, VKontakte and Odnoklassniki social network applications, as well as Mir Pay and Gosuslug “.
The list of required applications for installation on computers and laptops includes MyOffice, Yandex Browser and Kaspersky Free. TVs also provide for the installation of Yandex applications. Along with them are the applications of Rutube, VK Video, Channel One and NTV, online cinemas Ivi, Premier, Kinopoisk, Okko, More.tv and Start.
Recall that on August 25, 2022, Mikhail Mishustin signed an order approving the list of programs for mandatory pre-installation on smartphones, tablets, personal computers and Smart TVs from January 1, 2023.
