In the UAE, the hobby of classic cars is not only limited to cherishing old vehicles, but it has also become a means of keeping a culture, history and heritage alive. Khalifa Obaid Al Ghula, the head of the Flaz al-Mualla Classic Cars Center, is playing an important role in taking this passion to new heights. He has a great collection of more than 200 rare and classic cars, including vehicles of many historical importance.

Mission to save classic cars and add new generation
Khalifa Obaid Al Ghulas started the work of conservation and restoration of classic cars in 2011. His initiative was not just for himself, but he wanted to bring this art to the youth. For this purpose, he started training classic cars to 40-50 students above 12 during summer holidays every year.
His effort reached the UAE’s Ministry of Community Development and this year he got the place of training at Flaz al Mula Yuva Kendra. Here he taught high school students to restore two classic cars completely within just one month.
