Ola S1: A scooter changed the fortunes of this company, surpassing Hero to become number 1, 180% growth

Ola sold 3,440 units in August 2022. According to vehicle registration data, Okinawa Autotech came second in the sales of electric two-wheelers with 8,278 units sold. Similarly, Hero Electric sold 8,018 units and Ather sold 6,164 units. However, let us also tell you that only those figures are shown on the vehicle portal, as many vehicles have been registered. Whereas the company gives information about the units sent to the dealers in its figures.

Ola Electric has cited the recently launched Ola S1 scooter as the reason for its stellar performance. This is the cheaper version of the company’s OLA S1 Pro. On the very first day of sale, 10,000 units of this scooter were sold. The company also expanded its presence in the country with the opening of its first experience centres. The company has set a target of opening 200 centers by March 2023.
