Ola Electric’s new e-scooter to have party mode feature

The sales of electric two-wheelers in the country have grown rapidly in the last few years. Automobile companies are also launching new electric models in this segment. Ola Electric, among the big companies in this segment, is preparing to launch its new e-scooter on Diwali. Along with this, the company has shown a new feature MoveOS 3 in a teaser video, which looks like Party Mode. In this, music is being played with the lights on and off.

“Get ready for the new MoveOS, which will allow you to start a party anytime, anywhere,” Ola Electric said in a tweet. A similar feature has also been seen in the electric cars of the American electric vehicle company Tesla. Apart from the party mode feature, Ola Electric can also launch accessories like center stand and tire pressure monitoring. There is speculation that the company is also working on an affordable electric scooter. This will give less range than the already available e-scooters in the market and its power may also be less. Its price is estimated to be around Rs 80,000.

The company has extended the discount offer of Rs 10,000 on its S1 Pro electric scooter till Diwali. The company had earlier given this discount till Dussehra. Ola Electric claims that this offer has been extended due to high demand. The company is also offering a discount of Rs 1,500 on the extended warranty package of five years.

The price of Ola S1 Pro is approximately Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom). After the discount, it can be bought for Rs 1.30 lakh. To avail the discount, customers need to click on the Festive Offers tab on the Ola Electric website. After this, the S1 Pro will get the option to buy at a discounted price, around Rs 1.30 lakh. This e-scooter has an ARAI certified range of more than 180 kms in a single charge. However, it is claimed to be around 170 kms in actual conditions. It has a top speed of 116 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in less than three seconds. It has a 4 kWh lithium-ion battery which takes about 6 hours and 30 minutes to charge.
