Ola Electric Scooter: Ola Electric has decided to withdraw its 1,441 scooters from the market due to the fire incidents. Recently, there have been several incidents of fire in the electric scooters of Ola, due to which the company has taken this step. The company said in a statement that it is investigating the incident of fire in an electric two-wheeler in Pune on March 26. Preliminary investigation suggests that this is the only case of its kind. However, the company says that keeping in mind the safety, it is withdrawing 1,441 electric scooters of this consignment from the market and it will investigate these scooters.

Will investigate scooters thoroughly: Ola

Ola Electric said, “These scooters will be thoroughly checked by our engineers. They will check everything from battery system, thermal system to safety system.” The company claimed that its battery system is already compliant and it has been tested for AIS 156. This is the latest standard proposed for India. Apart from this, this battery also meets the European Standard ECE 136.

These companies also recalled their scooters

In the recent past, incidents of fire in electric two-wheelers have come to the fore at many places in the country.
