Ola Electric launched its S1 electric scooter in a new variant only last month. Now the company is planning to export this scooter to other countries.Ola is going to launch its electric scooter in Nepal by the end of this year. For this, Ola has partnered with a Nepalese company CG Motors. This information has been given by tweeting by the company’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal.
Tweeting about this , Bhavish Aggarwal wrote, “Ola electric scooters are very much liked in India. Considering their increasing popularity in India, we are going to launch it in the international markets as well. By the end of this year we will be launching it.” Will launch our electric scooter in Nepal.He further added that the company is also going to launch its product in America, South Asia and Europe in the coming time.
In terms of design, the Ola electric scooter is built on a tubular frame and features an indicator-mounted front apron, a smiley-shaped headlight, single-piece seat and flat footboard.It gets full-LED illumination and a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster with support for voice control and connectivity options.This two-wheeler is offered in 10 color options. Also, 12-inch aluminum alloy wheels have been given in it.
Both the trims of this electric scooter get a non-removable lithium-ion battery pack that generates maximum power of 8.5KW and torque of 58Nm.The S1 gets a 3kWh battery pack, while the S1 Pro includes a 3.97kWh battery pack.Apart from this, these scooters offer a top speed of 115 kmph and a range of 150 kms. Also, they come with three riding modes – Normal, Sports and Hyper.
The price of Ola S1 scooter in the Indian market was Rs 1 lakh while the price of S1 Pro was Rs 1.3 lakh. However, its price in Nepal will be higher than in India.
