The largest ride-hailing platform Ola has announced the launch of its electric bike service in Delhi and Hyderabad. After the success of the pilot on a large scale, the company focused towards e-bikes in Bengaluru. Ola has now planned to introduce 10,000 e-vehicles in Delhi-Hyderabad in the next 2 months. With these vehicles, Ola will have the largest EV 2W fleet in the country, and the company will further double the e-bike service across India by the end of this year.
Ola e-bike taxi: fares
Talking about the fare of Ola e-bike taxi, the minimum price will be Rs 25 for 5 kilometers, Rs 50 for 10 kilometers and Rs 75 for 15 kilometers. Ola eBike service will prove to be the most economical, sustainable and convenient solution for commuting in cities.

Ola Mobility: So many rides completed so far
According to Hemant Bakshi, CEO of Ola Mobility, in September 2023, Ola has revolutionized the cities of Bengaluru with the pilot launch of e-bike taxi service. The move offered the most affordable electric two-wheeler ride in India, and led to a 40 percent expansion in the category within three months. To date, Ola Electric has completed more than 1.75 million rides. Apart from this, Ola has also set up 200 charging stations in Bangalore for its e-bike fleet service.

Ola started e-bike service in Bengaluru in September 2023 after the state government cracked down on bike taxis operating in the city.
