The new model is called the GeForce RTX 2050. Unfortunately, NVIDIA did not disclose which architecture the new product uses – Turing or Ampere, but the company’s promotional materials mention “Ampere”. So the card can use the GA107 GPU.
The RTX 2050 is equipped with 2048 CUDA cores – more than the RTX 2060. However, the RTX 2050 has severely limited memory bandwidth. This is due to the 64-bit memory bus and 4 GB GDDR6. This model will have a TGP of 30 to 45 watts.
NVIDIA has said that both the RTX 2050, MX570 and MX550 will be released in spring 2022.
