Video card GeForce RTX 4080 Super came out on the market. It differs quite slightly from the regular version, if not counting the price. However, as it turns out, the reference version Founders Edition has a lower power supply phase than the RTX 4080 FE.
If the RTX 4080 FE has 16 phases in the power subsystem, then the RTX 4080 Super FE already has only 13. In addition, one phase is missing in the power socket. Of note, the RTX 4080 Super has slightly more CUDA cores than the regular model. However their TDP is identical. However, and this is also not immediately noticed, Nvidia itself notes on the site that the average consumption in games in RTX 4080 Super is slightly less: 246 W against 251 W.
In general, such trimming should not have any critical effect on the map, and for strong calculations it is in any case better to choose a non-referenced 3D-map. However, it shows that Nvidia made savings where no one expected.
