NVIDIA “pumps” its old RTX 2060 graphics card

As it turns out, the new version of the RTX 2060 will get more than 1920 CUDA cores. This model will be called the RTX 2060 12GB and, as you might guess, will receive 12GB of storage. As for the exact number of CUDA cores, they are expected to be 2,176 – the same as in the RTX 2060 SUPER.

Interestingly, the new graphics card should have a higher default TDP of 184W (compared to 175W in SUPER). On paper, the card should appear to be about the same as the 2060 SUPER except for memory bandwidth: the 2060 SUPER variant has a 256-bit bus, while the 12GB model has 192-bit bus.

NVIDIA RTX 2060 12GB is due out on December 7th as a cheaper alternative to the RTX 3060 12GB.
