Nvidia has officially reduced the cost of its top graphics cards in Europe: data from Nvidia’s branded online store in Germany indicates that three top models have fallen in price – GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition, GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition and GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition. Moreover, the first fell in price very significantly – almost by half.
Recall that earlier these models in Europe cost 2250, 1550 and 1200 euros, but now they are asking for 1330, 1200 and 1090 euros. Accordingly, the GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition immediately fell in price by 920 euros (!), GeForce RTX 3090 Founders Edition – by 350 euros, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Founders Edition – by 110 euros.
The price reduction for branded versions of 3D maps was predictable, since the cost of partner solutions has long since fallen. In essence, Nvidia has now simply harmonized its prices with those in the retail market. Yes, even with the current discounts, Founders Edition is still more expensive than most partner cards, but now the difference is at least minimized.
Recall that the other day these same models (though partner, not Founders Editin) fell to a minimum in the US: GeForce RTX 3090 Ti drops to $1100, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti to $740.
