According to the expert, this is due to the fact that the manufacturer can use high-quality cheese in the manufacture of cheese lavash. And he, in turn, has a relatively high price, which is included in the cost of the product.
Cheese lavash is absolutely the same lavash, but cheese is also added to the dough. This product is not cheap. The manufacturer looks at how profitable it is, he cannot do it at a loss.
Note that over the past year, shawarma in Russia has risen in price, on average up to 166 rubles (price increase – 8%). At the same time, oddly enough, in Moscow the dish turned out to be cheaper than in St. Petersburg – 162 rubles against 183 rubles.
