Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department tweeted that the age limit for admission in class one has been fixed. Now only children who have completed 6 years of age will be admitted in class 1. Only children who have completed 6 years of age by 31st July will be admitted in class 1. Under this rule, the children whose age has been completed 5 years and 8 months till 1st April. He will get admission in class 1.

Let us tell you that in this regard, recently the Union Ministry of Education had also written a letter to all the Union Territories and States, in which it was said that the minimum age in class 1 should be 6 years. As of now, the age limit for admission in class 1 is set differently in all the states. The minimum age for admission in class 1 in Kendriya Vidyalaya is already fixed at 6 years.

Enrollment of children from class 1st to 8th in the state will continue till May 10. Under this, the target of getting admission of 2 crore children has been set by the Basic Education Department. At the same time, to promote sports, the Sports for Schools program has also been started in schools. Under this, 11 types of different games will be organized in schools.

At the same time, first aid kits will also be kept in all primary schools from UP to deal with the heat wave. All the primary schools have been instructed by the department that they will also tell the symptoms of heat wave and the methods of prevention to all the children.
