Wi-Fi will be available
RRTS train will have 6 coaches. If needed, these can be increased to 9 coaches. One of these six coaches will be a premium passenger coach, fully dedicated to provide premium experience to the passengers. Various facilities like Wi-Fi will be available for the passengers in this premium coach.
Travel will be like air space
The RRTS train will have a total of 407 seats comprising six coaches, while this train will have a capacity to carry a total of 1,500 passengers at a time. The special thing is that in this train you will get the experience of traveling like a plane. The interior design and seats of RRTS train have been given like that of passenger aircraft, which will provide complete comfort to the passengers.
Train will run at a speed of 160 km/h
Railways is preparing a special track network for RRTS train on which this train will be capable of running at a speed of 100 km/h to 160 km/h. At the same time, it will travel three times faster than the metro rail.
According to the information, the first train of RRTS will start in March 2023. This train will first be run on the 82 km long rail track of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor. This Sarai in the country’s capital Delhi will cover a 17-km-long network via Kale Khan Metro Station.
An underground corridor is also being built for RRTS train. An underground corridor of 12 km is being built for this train, where 4 km of underground track will be in Delhi and 8 km will be in Ghaziabad and Meerut.
Will be equipped with armor system
Explain that the new RRTS train will be equipped with the recently launched Kavach technology by the Railways. Kavach is an anti-collision device network based on radio communication, microprocessor, globe positioning system technology. With the help of this technology, it is expected that the Railways will be successful in achieving the goal of ‘Zero Accidents’.
According to the information, two trains equipped with ‘Kavach’ system apply automatic brakes on the train while assessing the collision situation. This saves the trains from colliding with each other. The armor is SIL4 certified which means that in 10,000 years this technology is likely to make a mistake.
