Kia India is spreading rapidly in the Indian market. In such a situation, the company has announced that Kia will enter the certified pre-owned car ie second hand car business.
He has named it ‘Kia CPO’. Through this, it will allow customers to sell, buy or exchange pre-owned cars. The brand plans to open over 30 outlets by the end of 2022.
The manufacturer says that they will provide the first best maintenance program on pre-owned cars with the highest warranty coverage among all auto companies. Cars sold through Kia CPO will get warranty coverage of 2 years and up to 40,000 kms and 4 periodic maintenance free of cost.
With more than a third of customers buying Kia cars through exchange, the company has decided to start its own pre-owned car business. Customers can exchange any used car for new Kia cars and they are also offering a combined packaged deal for exchange customers with the option of making a secure and instant payment transfer.
Myung-sik Sohn, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India, said, “With the Kia CPO, we will be setting new rules in the pre-owned car market. As of now, Indian customers have access to certified information when it comes to the pre-owned car segment. Access is limited. Which we will do more of. Kia strives to revolutionize the industry by innovating according to needs.
Kia has aggressive plans to grow the CPO business in the country with 30+ outlets by the end of 2022. It has already established 15 outlets in 14 cities – Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Cochin, Bhubaneswar, Calicut, Amritsar, Nashik, Baroda, Kannur and Malappuram.
