Ola Electric is going to increase the prices of its scooters. The company’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal says that the prices will be changed after Holi. However, it is not yet decided how much the price will increase.
Bengaluru: In the era of inflation, scooter ride is also going to be expensive. The price of Ola S1 Pro is going to increase soon. Right now its price is Rs 129,999 lakh. Bengaluru-based mobility firm has told that the price of the scooter will be increased after March 18. Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has also given information in this regard. Let us tell you that customers can buy this scooter only through the Ola app.
Ola has introduced Ola S1 Pro in Ocher color on the occasion of Holi. However, Ola S1 Pro with ocher color can be bought only on March 18 i.e. today. The company said that the dispatch of new orders of Ola S1 Pro will start from April 2022, which will be delivered directly to the customers’ homes. Apart from this, the company has also announced new updates for its scooters. This update will improve its performance and will also add new features with the moveOS 2.0 update.
181 kms on full charge
The company has given 8.5kW battery in Ola S1 Pro scooter. It gets three riding modes – Normal, Sports and Hyper. The top speed of the electric scooter is 115 km/h. It catches the speed of 0 to 40kmph in just 3 seconds. The company claims that on full charge, this scooter can give a range of up to 181 km (ARAI certified).

Talking about the features, premium features like cruise control, hill hold control, ‘Take Me Home’ lights along with remote start/stop and lock/unlock are available in the S1 Pro. The company has given a combined braking system in both the wheels of the scooter, with both front and rear disc brakes. The scooter gets 36-litres of under-seat storage space, which can comfortably accommodate two open-faced helmets.
