The Sberbank team took an unexpected step – now the function of transferring money to other banks is prohibited in ATMs. The problem drew the attention of the publication “RIA Novosti”.
Users have one option left for this – transfer using the Sberbank Online application. According to a RIA Novosti correspondent, when he tried to transfer funds to another bank, he was denied the operation, and a message appeared on the ATM screen that this action can be performed using Sberbank Online.
The bank’s call center confirmed to journalists that the function of transfers to another bank at ATMs is disabled and no longer works. Information has also been corrected on the bank’s website and for those wishing to transfer money to a card to another bank, only two methods are offered – through the Sberbank Online application and the Sberbank Online web version.
