Action Against Cancellation of Ride: The government has given instructions to take action against the cab aggregators. CCPA i.e. Central Consumer Protection Authority has issued this order in the midst of increasing complaints against cab companies, saying that if any cab driver can cancel the ride booked by the customer without any valid reason. In such a situation, strict action will be taken against him.

Along with this, now the CCPA has also completely banned the customers to get it done in cash. Let us inform that in the last few days, the government had received many complaints from customers against companies like Ola, Uber. After this, the CCPA had asked the companies to redress these complaints by meeting on this matter on 10 May 2022. Along with this, answers were also sought from the companies for these complaints.

People upset with poor service
In the recent past, CCPA has received many complaints against cab companies like Ola, Uber. The most important in this is canceling the ride without reason, taking more money than the fixed fare, not running AC in the car, etc. In such a situation, CCPA has made up its mind to take action against these complaints.

This action will be taken on arbitrariness
According to media reports, if you cab driver arbitrarily charge more fare from customers or cancel the ride after asking the location, then strict action will be taken against him. With this, now the cab driver will not take money from any customer in cash mode and he will have to take money only in online mode. Strict action will be taken against the company which does not follow these rules.
