Getting a Passport Is Now Easier Than Ever! One Click and Services Come to Your Doorstep
A passport has become a necessity for almost everyone today. Now, the government has launched a service that eliminates the need to stand in long queues to get one.
In today’s digital age, people prefer to get things done through apps to save time. With this in mind, the government has introduced many digital services, and now a crucial one has been added to the list—passport application and renewal from home. The Mobile Passport Seva Van is an initiative that allows people to apply for and receive their passport without stepping out.
Launched under the Passport Seva Project, the mPassport Seva Van is especially beneficial for the elderly and differently-abled. It has already been introduced in cities like Bhopal, Goa, Kashmir (Kargil), and Chandigarh. Currently running as a pilot project, this service is expected to expand across the country in the coming months.
