According to the information given by Meta, many major changes have been made in the new data privacy rules, while some rules have not been changed at all. The company has taken this step to keep itself away from the constant allegations of breach of personal data on it. The company said, we want to make you (users) feel more confident about your privacy. That is why the Meta Privacy Policy has been changed and now you will be able to get more details about how you are using your information.

These four big changes happened
1- Meta said- We have made our policy more clear and easy, so that users can understand quickly. Along with this, a link will also be given to know the wishes and experiences of the users.
2- More details about the kind of information Meta is collecting will be made available to its users.
3- Meta will also now provide users with more information about all of its partners with whom it shares or collects information.
4- Along with this, it will also tell users why their information is being shared with any product or company and how they are sharing it.

No change in these rules
The company has said that we neither sell nor will sell the information of our users in the future. The rules related to this have been retained as it is.

Users will also be able to manage their privacy using the settings.

The new policy will be applicable from July 26
The company has said that the new privacy policy of Meta will be implemented from July 26, 2022. Advice has also been sought from users in this regard and if the changes are accepted then the new policy will start working from the end of the month. Meta has said that the new privacy rule will be applied to all information received by users on Facebook, Instagram and Messenger. WhatsApp is not included in this, as it has its own privacy policy.
