Nothing Ear (a) specs

These Nothing Ear (a) earphones resemble Nothing’s other transparent earphones, but with a new design. They sport a yellow color and a bubble-like design. Like the Nothing Ear (1), they feature a special 11mm driver. The company claims that they have a better dual-chamber design than the earlier Ear (2) model, along with two additional holes for airflow.

Nothing Ear (a) features

These earphones deliver high-quality music listening experiences. They support LHDC 5.0 and LDAC codecs. In simple terms, these are special technologies that enhance wireless music playback quality via Bluetooth. According to the company, with LHDC 5.0, these earphones can deliver sound quality up to 1Mbps 24 bit/192kHz, while with LDAC, they can deliver up to 990kbps and 24 bit/96kHz. You can also download the “Nothing X” app, which allows you to customize sound settings, use the equalizer, and control Noise Cancellation.

They also feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which the company claims is highly effective in reducing surrounding noise. The earphones come with Adaptive ANC, a feature that automatically adjusts the noise cancellation level among three levels (high, medium, low) based on the surrounding noise. According to the company, they can cancel twice as much noise (up to 45dB) as the Ear (2) model.

When fully charged, these earphones, along with the case, last for 42.5 hours. Each earbud has a 46mAh battery, and the charging case has a 500mAh battery. Additionally, these earphones can connect to two devices simultaneously (Dual Connection), feature Low Lag Mode for gaming, and offer features like Pinch control for adjusting volume.
