According to reports, recently Ford has acquired the trademark of ‘Everest’. At present, the company will import Everest SUV in India in small numbers. Using the name Everest instead of Endeavor will reduce the branding cost of the company. This will reduce the expenditure on advertising.
Ford has not yet told when production will start at the Chennai plant. Local production of Everest in India may also get delayed till 2026. However, the company can try to meet the demand through imports.
