New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has introduced its compact sedan car DZire equipped with S-CNG technology. Its showroom price in Delhi is Rs 8.14 lakh. The automaker said in a statement on Tuesday that this car is available in two models. One is priced at Rs 8.14 lakh and the other is Rs 8.82 lakh.
According to Maruti, a 1.2-litre engine has been given in the DZire, which provides a high power of 57 kW. The company claims that this car can run up to 31.12 km in one kg of CNG. Maruti Suzuki has also made the Dzire CNG sedan available on a subscription model. Maruti Suzuki has said that the monthly subscription fee for the Dzire CNG model starts at Rs 16,999.
Once the 2022 Maruti Dzire CNG is launched, it will compete with the Tata Tigor and Hyundai Aura, which are priced at Rs 8.29 lakh and Rs 7.74 lakh, respectively. The current sedan model of DZire is available in the market for Rs 6.09 lakh to Rs 9.13 lakh. All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom.
