According to Kommersant, the largest Russian consumers of server equipment were dissatisfied with servers based on domestic processors. In particular, the customers were not satisfied with the low productivity, high power consumption and uncompetitive equipment price in comparison with foreign counterparts.
It is noted that the meeting was attended by representatives of the largest companies, including Rostelecom, the Department of Information Technology (DIT) of Moscow, VTB, Rosatom, Rostec, AK ALROSA, Sberbank, Russian Post. A number of customers, including representatives of ALROSA and Sberbank, announced the high cost, insufficient performance and low energy efficiency of the servers.
