If you drive a bike or a car, now you need to carry driving license and vehicle papers like registration (RC), insurance and pollution certificate, but many times people are not able to carry them by mistake or for any other reason. In such a situation when the traffic police ask you for a document and you do not have it, then in this case your challan is deducted. Here we will tell you about a way by which there is no need to carry any documents related to the vehicle and your challan will not be deducted.
Now the drivers on the road, the traffic police and the transport department are given digi-locker (DigiLocker) platform or m-transport (mParivahan) display the documents kept in digital form in the mobile app and the same will be fully valid.
This platform was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2015. It is a kind of digital locker where you can save your important documents like PAN card, Voter ID, Passport and now driving license in digital format. Let us tell you that DigiLocker was started under the Digital India campaign. If you want to open DigiLocker account then it is mandatory for you to have Aadhar card and without Aadhar you cannot open account on it.
