This color option includes Onyx Black and Storm White. The Nissan Magnite Red Edition gets red accents on the grille, front bumper cladding, wheel arches and body side cladding. The theme can be seen deep inside with the red-themed dashboard, red accents on the door side armrests and the center console.
The exterior of the SUV also gets another additional body graphics, tail door garnish and a prominent Red Edition-specific badge. Apart from these exterior changes, the Red Edition uses the same 16-inch alloy wheel design, LED fog lamps and DRLs from the standard XV trim of the Magnite.
The Nissan Magnite Red Edition’s tech has also been updated, including an 8.0 touchscreen with Wi-Fi connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7.0-inch full TFT instrument cluster and a rear-view camera with projection guide.
Other interior upgrades include push start button, LED scuff plate, ambient lighting, vehicle dynamics control, traction control system, brake assist and hill start assist. Looking at the engine of the new Magnite Red Edition, it has been given a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.
Apart from this, the option of 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine has also been given in it. While the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine produces 71 Bhp of power and 91 Nm of torque, the turbocharged engine produces 98 Bhp of power and 160 Nm of peak torque.
This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox. Speaking on the launch of the new Nissan Magnite Red Edition, Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India said, “We are very excited to launch the new Magnite Red Edition in the Indian market.”
