Nissan India sold 8991 vehicles in December, 2020 units sold in Indian market, demand increased by 19%

Nissan Sales Report of December 2022: Nissan Motor India has released the sales report for the month of December. The company sold 8991 vehicles last month. Compared to December 2021, the company’s sales have registered an increase of 19 percent. Let us tell you that Nissan sold 2020 vehicles in the Indian market last month. Whereas during this period the company exported 6971 units.Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India said, “This year has been a challenging year on the supply side, despite strong consumer demand during the festive season. The demand for high-end products has increased due to better purchasing power of the customers. We are delighted to witness the overwhelming response and customer response to the Nissan Magnite in the domestic and export markets.

The Nissan Magnite has established itself as the vehicle of choice in the B-SUV segment and has registered over 1 lakh bookings till date. Launched in December 2020, the Nissan Magnite is Designed in Japan and Made in India, reflecting Nissan India’s manufacturing philosophy of ‘Make-in-India, Make for the World’. Its current ex-showroom price starts from Rs. 5.97 lakhs. Nissan Magnite has received an overwhelming response in the market with over 1 lakh domestic bookings. Meanwhile, Nissan has launched the Nissan Magnite – Red Edition in July 2022 at an attractive starting price of Rs 7.86 lakh.

Nissan Magnite is exported to more than 15 countries. It has recently been launched in Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. Nissan India commenced exports in September 2010 and currently exports from its Renault-Nissan Automotive India Limited plant in Chennai to 108 countries including New Zealand, Australia, Middle East Asian countries, European countries apart from Latin America, South East Asia, SAARC countries and many countries of sub-Saharan and Africa are included. In recent years, Nissan India has shifted its primary export market from Europe to countries in the Middle East such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait.
