New Year’s gift: Sberbank returns the application to the iPhone “throughout the country”

The Sberbank team nevertheless found a way to install mobile applications on Apple smartphones of its customers. The press service officially announced this.

The press release says:

We have a New Year’s gift for Apple. Let’s install an application for accessing Sber services on an iPhone in an office convenient for you!

The client needs to find the nearest office on the map, where they provide the service “Installing the SberBank Online application on iPhone”, and bring a smartphone.

First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Kirill Tsarev explained in an interview with TASS:

For users of iOS phones, there are indeed certain difficulties that you know about. But we found a solution and now we are implementing it. Now the application can be installed on Apple devices at Sberbank branches. Now almost 5,000 offices across the country perform this function. You just come with the device, and we will install the application on it. We have also finalized our web version and will continue to develop it.

Recall that since April 2022, Russian iPhone users have been living without the ability to install or update the Sberbank Online application from the official App Store online store. In summer and autumn, a clone of Sberbank Online called SBOL appeared in the App Store for a short time, but the store moderators quickly realized their mistake and “covered up shop”.
