- Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV: The South Korean auto company is preparing to launch the second electric car in India next year. The Ionic 5 will be fielded to compete with the Kia EV6. Both the cars have been developed on the E-GMP platform. With the 72.6kWh battery pack, the car can run for 631 km under ARAI on a single charge.
- MG Air EV: A small electric car is going to be introduced next year. British auto company MG Motor will unveil the Air EV electric car on 5 January 2023. This car is among the MG cars to be included in the Auto Expo 2023. Once fully charged, this car will travel 200 to 300 km.
- Citroën eC3: French auto company Citroën is also ready to enter the Indian electric segment. The company has recently revealed the name of the upcoming electric car eC3. The new car will be based on the C3. A 50kWh battery pack can be used in this. The new car can run 350 km on a single charge.
- Tata Punch EV: Tata Motors has a one-sided possession in the Indian electric car segment. It is the largest electric car selling company in the country. Tata is preparing to launch the electric version of the Punch SUV next year. Two battery pack options can be given in this. The upcoming car can get a range of up to 350 km.
- Hyundai Kona Electric 2023: Hyundai has recently unveiled the new generation model of Kona Electric. This model can knock in India next year. However, the battery pack options and range of the upcoming car could be similar to the current model. Hyundai’s electric car runs 452 km on a single charge.
- Skoda Enyaq iV: European auto company Skoda is also planning to launch the first electric car in India. The upcoming electric car has been spotted several times during testing. This car will be based on the new MEB platform of Volkswagen Group. This car will compete with Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5 in the Indian market.
