Xiaomi has released a new air conditioner called Mijia Natural Wind 2HP. The distinctive features of the model are the compact dimensions of the indoor unit, a built-in temperature and humidity sensor, as well as high energy efficiency.
The APF (annual efficiency factor) of the new product is 4.69 units – according to the manufacturer, the device is capable of saving up to 70 kWh of electricity per year in comparison with competitors (examples are not indicated). The air conditioner is able to maintain the set temperature with an accuracy of 0.5 °C, and also work in conjunction with a humidifier as part of the smart home ecosystem.
The body of the new product is made of weather-resistant materials, and the modernized design of the air duct ensures smooth flow without sudden gusts of “wind”. The power of the indoor unit, according to the specification, is designed to cool a room with an area of 20 to 30 square meters.
Xiaomi Mijia Natural Wind 2HP is available for pre-order in China at a price of $473. There is no information about the availability of the new product in other regions yet.
