Manufacturer of servers Supermicro revealed the characteristics of the new accelerator Nvidia – RTX 2000 Ada.
The device will be offered in two variants: as usual as a simple GPU for workstations and the so-called E-variant – with long-term support and oriented towards large corporate customers. There are no differences in characteristics, but there is a difference in price: price of the regular version – from 500 to 630 dollars, version E – 600-650 dollars.
The RTX 2000 Ada inherits the cooling system from the older model RTX 4000 SFF and does not require additional power (ie consumption will not exceed 70 W). Overall memory GDDR6 consists of 8 GB. Presumably, the RTX 2000 Ada will use GPU AD106, as in the RTX 3000 Mobile Ada. The official premiere of the RTX 2000 Ada is expected next week.
