A few days ago, a beta version of the Rufus utility was released under the number 3.20, and now the author has released a release build. This utility continues to help users install Windows 11 with less hassle.

The current assembly, in addition to bypassing checks for the presence of TPM, SecureBoot and a Microsoft account, allows you to automatically create a local account when installing the OS. Also Rufus 3.20 is able to copy regional settings from the installed version of Windows.

The new version creates an account with the same name as the current user. The password is empty, it is proposed to change it after the first reboot. In addition, some bugs have been fixed. You can download the new here.

This May, Microsoft updated a list of mandatory requirements for installing Windows 11. These include an Internet connection and a Microsoft account. This was required to install Windows 11 22H2 Insider. However, the beta version of the Rufus program allowed to bypass the restrictions.
