New Toyota Yaris Launched With New Design And Features, Know Price

Toyota Yaris has been launched in India earlier. It was nothing special in appearance and due to this its sale was also very less. Due to this the car was discontinued in India.

Toyota has launched the new generation model of the Yaris sedan. This new model is built on the DNGA platform. The new Yaris has been updated to a great extent and many new features have also been added to it. 

The new Toyota Yaris can be bought in four variant options – Sport, Smart, Premium and Premium Luxury. Let’s know about it in details…

New Toyota Yaris Design

The front of the new Toyota Yaris sees the most changes. It gets a new and bigger grille, stylish LED headlights and LED DRLs. Its grille has horizontal slats. The shape of its headlight seems to be inspired by Lexus . At the same time, new LED tail-lights and LED indicator have been given in its tail section.

On the inside, the new Toyota Yaris sedan gets Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, 9-inch free-standing infotainment screen, maroon shade upholstery, Pioneer sound system with 6 speakers, climate control, ambient lighting, electronic handbrake, 360-degree camera . Apart from this, this car is also equipped with Level-1 Driver Assist features.

Engine of New Toyota Yaris

Talking about the engine specification, only 1.2L petrol engine is available in all the variants of the car. It is mated to a CVT gearbox.

New Toyota Yaris Price

The new generation Toyota Yaris has been currently launched in Thailand. Its price starts from 539,000 Thai Baht (approximately Rs 12.08 lakh) for the Sport variant. Its smart variant costs 584k THB (Rs 13.09 lakh), premium 659k THB (Rs 14.77 lakh) and premium luxury variant costs 689k THB (Rs 15.44 lakh). Toyota is yet to confirm the launch of the new Yaris in India.

Toyota’s plans for India

Toyota is trying hard to expand its lineup in the Indian market. Innova and Fortuner have been in great demand in the country. Apart from this, Toyota Glanza and Urban Cruiser are its rebranded vehicles. Now the company is making some changes in their design. At the same time, the company will soon launch HyRyder with hybrid technology too.
