New range of iVoomi S1 electric scooter launched, will run 240Km in single charge, price starts from Rs 69,999

Electric scooters (EV) are becoming increasingly popular. Startups are also coming forward in this market. Mumbai based iVoomi Energy has introduced a new variant of its popular S1 electric scooter. These include the S1 80, S1 100 and S1 240. Keeping in mind the needs of the people, the company has upgraded its lineup. The prices of the new variant start from Rs 69999, whose ex-showroom prices go up to Rs 1.21 lakh. The company has claimed that its scooter can run up to 240 kilometers in a single charge. This is what makes these scooters powerful.

reports According to reports, the company’s MD and co-founder Sunil Bansal has also given his opinion about upgrading the existing EV lineup. Said that we want to add more technology to our scooters. We are working on creating a connected ecosystem. The S1 series aims to offer products that attract people and attract them to adopt e-vehicles.

The electric scooter with which the company has claimed a range of 240 km is named iVoomi S1 240 Electric Scooter. This model has been given a 4.2 kWh twin battery pack. It is equipped with a 2.5 kW motor (3.3 bhp) with extra torque. In comparison, the S1 80 electric scooter is powered by a 1.5 kWh battery that offers a range of 80 km on a single charge. Keep in mind that the S1 80 is an entry level electric scooter. Its maximum speed is 55 kilometers per hour. All variants are equipped with 3 riding modes – Eco, Rider and Sport. These scooters can be purchased in Peacock Blue, Night Maroon and Dusky Black color options.

iVoomi Energy has told that the sale of the new S1 e-scooters will start from December 1, 2022. These scooters can be purchased through the company’s dealership network. The company is also offering financing options to the customers. For this he has entered into a partnership. The company is first focusing on the southern states of the country and wants to expand there. It has said that by the end of the year, it will introduce its entire range of products in South India.
