The accessories and kits that come with the Ninja 300 can also be updated. However, no major changes are expected in the bike. Kawasaki Ninja is currently available at a price of Rs 3.37 Lakh (Ex-showroom). The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is the company’s entry-level model, which is offered in three color options – Lime Green, Candy Lime Green and Ebony in a single trim.
Ninja 300 gets its power from a 296 cc liquid cooled engine. This engine produces 36 bhp power at 11,000 rpm and peak torque of 26.1 Nm at 10,000 rpm. The bike is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch and assist clutch.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 uses a steel tube diamond frame. The bike gets telescopic forks at the front and a 5-step adjustable monoshock suspension unit at the rear. For braking, dual piston petal disc brakes have been provided on both the wheels of the bike. It gets 17-inch alloy wheels along with tubeless tyres.
As far as features are concerned, the current version of the Ninja 300 gets a basic semi-digital instrument console, LED lighting and dual-channel ABS. The Ninja 300 is the entry-level model in Kawasaki’s lineup and is being produced in India only. It competes with other entry-level supersport bikes such as the TVS Apache RR 310 and KTM RC 390. A jump in the prices of the upcoming new Ninja 300 can also be seen.
Kawasaki will make electric bike
Japanese bike maker Kawasaki has also revealed its plans for electric vehicles in view of the rapidly growing electric vehicle market around the world. The company has said that it will stop production of petrol vehicles from 2035 onwards. After this, the company will focus on manufacturing only electric vehicles.
According to Kawasaki, electric vehicles will first be introduced in the markets of Japan and Europe, followed by electric bikes in other markets of the world. Kawasaki has started work on its first electric bike. The company introduced the concept model of its first electric bike in 2019 at the EICMA Milan motorcycle show.
