Talking about the features of the Maruti Baleno facelift, it has been given a new dashboard with floating infotainment screen, new steering, steering mounted controls, interior fabric, new interior color theme and comfort and safety features. The new Baleno gets a massive 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system with 360-degree camera.

Apart from this, the new Baleno also gets features like 6-airbags, Arkamys sound system, wireless phone charger, automatic climate control, cruise control, keyless entry, push button start and auto LED headlight. Maruti has not changed the engine of the new Baleno. It is currently made available in one engine option. It is available in 1.2-litre petrol engine and 1.2-litre dual jet petrol engine option. The first engine produces 83 Bhp of power and 113 Nm of peak torque, while the second engine produces 90 Bhp of power. The new Baleno comes in 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.

According to the information, the CNG model of Baleno facelift can also be launched very soon. Maruti Suzuki is the leading manufacturer of CNG cars in India and the largest seller of CNG models. Recently, the company has launched CNG models of Dzire and Celerio. Currently, models like DZire, Eeco, Celerio, S-Presso, WagonR, Alto and XL6 are being sold in CNG.

Maruti Suzuki has sold 1,64,056 units of vehicles in February 2022. The company sold 1,64,469 units of vehicles in February 2021. The company has sold 1,40,035 units in the domestic market which is a growth of 8.46% as against 1,52,983 units sold in February 2021.

According to reports, Maruti Suzuki and Toyota are preparing to bring their first electric car under a partnership. It is said that the electric car will be produced at Maruti’s Gujarat plant. However, both the companies have not yet shared official information about the electric car. Maruti had told that the first electric car will be launched in the Indian market by 2025.
