Lenovo has introduced new gaming laptops from the Legion family. The Y7000P (2022) and Y9000P (2022) are powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 graphics cards.
The younger model Y7000P (2022) received a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1440p, a refresh rate of 165 Hz and full coverage of the sRGB color space. The laptop will ship in two configurations: with an i5-12500H processor and a 4GB RTX 3050 graphics card, or with an i7-12700H and a 4GB RTX 3050 Ti. In both cases, the devices will receive 16 GB of LDRR5 RAM and a 512 GB SSD.
The Legion Y9000P (2022) features a 16-inch display that has a resolution of 1600p, a refresh rate of 165Hz, a maximum brightness of 500 nits, and a response time of 3ms. The older model will also be available in two versions, but they differ only in graphics cards – RTX 3060 with 6 GB or RTX 3070 Ti with 8 GB. Both laptops will also get an i7-12700H processor, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 512GB SSD.
The new members of the Legion family will go on sale on March 3rd. The Y7000P (2022) is priced at CNY 6799 (~$1076) for the i5-12500H version and CNY 7799 (~$1235) for the i7-12700H version. The prices for the Y9000P (2022) are 8999 Yuan (~$1425) and 10999 Yuan (~$1742) depending on the chosen graphics card.
