Apple intends to implement these plans in February 2022. The company is said to have already secured the supply of chips needed for mass production and has even begun trial production of the iPhone 13 at Foxconn’s plant near Chennai. There, the company is already assembling the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 for the local market. In addition, Apple smartphones are assembled in Bangalore, in particular the iPhone SE model.
The production of the iPhone 13 in India should not only help Apple lower prices for models in the domestic market, but also help increase shipments overseas.
