New Honda SUV coming to compete with Grand Vitara, pre-booking started

The new Honda SUV will rival the Maruti Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, MG Astor and Skoda Kushaq once launched in India.

Honda recently showcased a new SUV for the Indian market. It is expected that it will be launched in India in July or August this year. The new Honda SUV will also be launched in the global market. The SUV has already reached some of the company’s dealerships ahead of its official launch. At the same time, its unofficial pre-booking has also started.

The new Honda SUV can be launched under the name Elevate. The company has already registered this name for the Indian market. This new car will be made on the lines of the 5th generation model of Honda City. It will be manufactured at Honda’s Rajasthan plant. Let’s know about it…

Design of Honda Elevate

According to the pictures surfaced so far, its front will get wide grille with brand logo, LED headlamps, DRL and round fog lamps. The length of this SUV can go up to 4.3 meters.

Honda Elevate Interior

At present, the information about the cabin of this new Honda SUV has not been revealed. Its interior is expected to be similar to the Honda Civic. Large touchscreen infotainment and digital instrument cluster can be found in it.

Safety Features of Honda Elevate

Advance Driver Assistance System (ADAS) will be available in the new Honda car. It will include features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist system, road departure, automatic emergency braking, 6 airbags, auto high beam, hill assist and 360 degree camera.

Honda Elevate Engine

Two engine options can be found in Honda Elevate. One of these will be a 1.5L iVTEC petrol and the other a 1.5L Atkinson engine. The second engine will come with hybrid technology, which will give power of 126bhp and torque of 253Nm. Whereas the first engine will generate 121bhp power and 145Nm torque. With this, the option of 6-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox can be found.
