The new Honda Goldwing now gets a dual clutch transmission along with an airbag for safety. The Honda Goldwing is a big and comfortable cruiser bike. Talking about the updates, the new Honda Gold Wing has been given a better music system than before, along with more comfort for the pillion. The standard model is now available in a new color – Pearl Deep Mud Grey. At the same time, in the top variant, it has been made available in Gunmetal Black Metallic and Candy Ardent Red.
The new Honda Goldwing Tour is powered by an 1833cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke 24-valve SOHC flat-6 engine that produces 126 bhp power at 5,500rpm and 170 Nm peak torque at 4,500rpm. The bike gets four rider modes – Tour, Sport, Eecon and Rain with suspension damping and Dual Combined Brake System (D-CBS).
Features like Air Management System, electric windscreen, separate seats for rider and pillion, full LED lighting, LED fog lamps, auto-canceling indicator etc. have been given in Goldwing. It gets features like cruise control system, throttle by wire (TBW), audio and navigation system, 7-inch full-color TFT display screen and smart key.
Apart from this, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, two USB Type-C ports and navigation system have also been given in the new Goldwing. In terms of safety, it also gets Hill Start Assist, Honda Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) technology, Dual Combined Brake System (D-CBS), Dual Channel ABS, an airbag.
The storage capacity has also been increased in the new Gold Wing Tour. Now it gets 121 liters of storage space with an increase of 11 liters. The pillar backrest has been modified in the new bike. The seats in the Tour variant get a slightly more premium looking synthetic leather cover. A new 45-watt speaker has been installed in the bike, with which automatic volume adjustment feature is available.
